Prime Minister offers incense to late Party leader Le Duan

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 10th paid tribute to late Party leader Le Duan at his home at Hoang Dieu street, Hanoi on the occasion of his 30th death anniversary.

The Prime Minister praised the great contributions by the late leader to national liberation and unification. He pledged to do his utmost to build Vietnam into a strong country with prosperous people, democratic, fair and civilized society.

Le Duan was born on April 7th, 1907 in a patriotic family in Trieu Phong district, the central province of Quang Tri.

 

During his 26 years serving as the first Secretary and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, he was a consistent political leader, an excellent strategist, a talented organizer and a great ideologist of Vietnam’s revolution./.
