Application of unmanned aircraft in search and rescue
In Vietnam, during the peak of COVID-19 epidemic prevention, Hanoi and Da Nang used flycams to patrol, bringing much more efficiency than other traditional methods. The Ministry of Public Security has also proposed buying specialized helicopters, UAVs, gliders and hot air balloons to equip mobile police.
Recently, Factory Z113 of the General Department of Defense Industry has researched and manufactured the UAV-Z113-50 unmanned aerial vehicle, a highly mobile firefighting vehicle effective in extinguishing fires in high-rise buildings and fires in elevated locations that traditional fire-fighting means cannot reach. UAV-Z113-50 can also integrate camera and lighting systems to serve the fastest search and detection of victims in distress, supporting rescue work in hard-to-reach áreas such as dangerous mountains and cliffs. In addition, in case someone is stranded at sea or in difficult-to-reach terrain, drones can drop life buoys, food and medical equipment.

Revolution in economic efficiency in production and business
In the agricultural sector, using drones to spray pesticides helps reduce pesticide use by up to 30%, thereby significantly reducing costs and saving spraying time. According to Mr. Le Thien Ngoc, director of MAJ Agricultural Services Joint Stock Company, one of the pioneer units in Vietnam in the field of design, production, repair and maintenance of UAV licensed by the Ministry of National Defense, it only takes farmers 1 hour to spray 1 - 2 hectares, instead of taking up to 5 days when spraying by hand. The aircraft's spraying mechanism helps the pesticide penetrate deeply into the plant's parts, effectively eliminating all destructive possibilities of pests, bringing high economic efficiency, helping to protect the environment and human health.
