Bac Ninh province ranks 7th in E-commerce Business Index 2024

A report of the Vietnam E-commerce Business Index (EBI) said that in 2024, Bac Ninh province reached 30 points and ranks 7th in the country, up 8.5 points and 3 ranks compared to 2023.

According to the 2024 rankings, Ho Chi Minh City continues to lead with 87 points; followed by Hanoi with 84.3 points, Binh Duong province with 51.3 points. The average score of this year's index is 23.1 points.
For component indexes, Bac Ninh province ranks 16th in human resources and information technology infrastructure with 27 points; ranks 7th in business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce transactions with 31 points; ranks 6th in business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce transactions with 29 points.
Built by the Vietnam E-commerce Association in 2012, the EBI is a useful quantitative tool to determine the situation of e-commerce development across the country as well as each locality./.
