A flight from Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France, operated by the carrier Bamboo Airways, provided free transportation of nearly six tonnes of medical supplies donated by Khalsa Aid International.

The special shipment consists of many packages of relief medical supplies and equipment such as ventilators, oxygen generators and masks.
Bamboo Airways handed over all medical goods to National Cancer Hospital, commonly known as K Hospital.
Earlier, on October 31, Bamboo Airways officially announced its direct route between Vietnam and the UK and launched its general agent in the UK market, within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s business trip in Edinburgh, Scotland, the UK, reported VNA.
On November 3, the airlines coordinated with Heathrow Airport to hold signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two sides.
Bamboo Airways and Safran Group also signed a MoU on the selection of aircraft engines and equipment for the order of 50 A321NEO and 30 Boeing 787-9 aircrafts. The total value of agreements within the MoU is estimated at EUR2 billion.
These activities will create favourable conditions for Bamboo Airways to promote its plan to operate a series of regular direct flights between Vietnam and the UK in the near future.
Also yesterday, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines transported 400,000 specialised needles and equipment for COVID-19 treatment which were donated to Vietnam by overseas Vietnamese and agencies in the UK and France.
After landing, the shipment was quickly processed and handed over to the relevant agencies./.
