Beauty of Ha Long Bay to be introduced to Indian people

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Hoang Duc Hanh expressed his pleasure to welcome the ISCUF delegation to visit Quang Ninh. He quickly briefed the delegation about the socio-economic situation, potentials and advantages in all fields, especially tourism - an economic sector identified as the spearhead of Quang Ninh province.

Mr. Hanh also thanked the Indian people for their sentiment and support for Vietnam in history. India and Vietnam have always supported each other in the resistance wars against colonialism, imperialism, and for independence and free.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Mohanty Bijay, Vice President of ISCUF hoped that in the coming time, Vietnam and India would expand and cooperate closely with each other in many specialized priority fields that both sides have strengths, such as science - technology, agriculture, healthcare, information - communications, local cooperation, thereby contributing to strengthening the friendship and cohesion between the people of Vietnam and India.

Mr. Mohanty Bijay thanked the leaders of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Quang Ninh province for their respectful reception and said that during the working visit, the delegation visited the world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay.

He affirmed that after returning home, he will together with his colleagues introduce the beauty of Ha Long Bay to the Indian people, so that they can come to Vietnam and Quang Ninh to travel, relax and seek investment opportunities.

The two sides agreed to strengthen regular information exchange and step up the exchange of people-to-people friendship delegations of the two countries./.
