In his speech, Mr. Chien expressed his emotion at laying flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Montreau Park, the only place in France that has a bust of President Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh Space, which preserves many of his precious legacies.
He emphasized that the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh Space in the Living History Museum are built very impressively in Montreau Park, not only reflecting the stages of his extraordinary journey to France but also helping highlight important milestones in the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and France.
The precious images and artifacts are respectfully preserved in a separate room in the Living History Museum, helping the Vietnamese community, French friends and international visitors to understand more about the shared history between the two nations, thereby contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the people of Vietnam and France.
The museum truly provides an opportunity for not only the Vietnamese community in France but also French friends and international visitors to feel more deeply about President Ho Chi Minh, who always carried a strong will and profound love for his nation, who integrated himself with the working people and the struggle movements of the French communists and workers for independence, freedom, equality and fraternity.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders of Vietnam, Mr. Chien sincerely thanked the Living History Museum for preserving the memories and artifacts of President Ho Chi Minh and for always closely coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh President's relic site in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Embassy in France to organize many meaningful activities to honor the great Vietnamese leader.
On behalf of the French Communist Party, Mr. Taylan Coskun, Politburo Member in charge of resources and relations with Vietnam, expressed his honor to welcome delegations and senior leaders of Vietnam to lay flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and visit the Ho Chi Minh Space.
He said that the friendship built and cultivated over the past century connects the two peoples, stemming from the founding of the French Communist Party with President Ho Chi Minh as a founding member. He made enormous contributions to shaping and nurturing the ideals of French communists in the struggle against colonialism at that time.
According to Mr. Taylan Coskun, the solidarity and friendship between the two sides have always been strong through various events. Since 1941, French communists have consistently fought for Vietnam's independence./.
