On December 26, the Thai Nguyen provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the final round of the contest “Thai Nguyen Youth - Journey following Uncle Ho”.

The contest took place from the end of November. From 30 contestants in the Preliminary round, the organizers selected 10 excellent contestants to participate in the Final round with two parts: Presentation and talent contest.
In the presentation contest, each contestant has a maximum of 12 minutes to present thematic content about the life, background, and career of President Ho Chi Minh, his visits to Thai Nguyen, and historical events of the Youth Union associated with Uncle Ho.
In the talent contest, each contestant puts on a performance of their choice such as singing, dancing, reading poetry, telling stories, or short skits.
The organizers awarded the First Prize to contestant Nguyen Trung Thai (Youth Union of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company); 2 Second prizes, 2 Third prizes and 5 Consolation prizes to the remaining contestants.
The contest is one of the activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Thai Nguyen (January 1, 1964-2024), contributing to raising awareness for officials and youth union members about the basic, core content, significance, and practical values of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style./.
