"Following Uncle Ho’s footsteps" program to be held in Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

The Management Board of Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will organize a series of activities with the theme "Following Uncle Ho’s footsteps" to mark the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, and 65 years of Ho Chi Minh Trail Opening Day - Truong Son Soldiers' Traditional Day.

Accordingly, many programs will be held at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism from May 2 - 31 to introduce culture, traditional customs of ethnic groups, and promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style.
Notably, Gia Rai ethnic group in Gia Lai province will recreate the victory celebration of the Gia Rai ethnic group. Ethnic groups in the village will organize the program "Songs for Uncle Ho", with vocal, musical instrument, dance, and folk performances praising Uncle Ho, expressing Uncle Ho's affection for the Vietnamese ethnic groups. Ethnic groups in the Northern, Central Highlands, and Southern regions will together tell stories about Uncle Ho with each region, and ethnic groups.
In the programs, many works are selected from the exhibition on following General Vo Nguyen Giap's footsteps and 30 special photos about the life, career and image of beloved Uncle Ho with the ethnic community will be displayed.
More than 125 people of 17 ethnic groups from many provinces and cities across the country will participate in the activities./.
