In recent times, the Standing Committee of the VBS District 4 has consistently collaborated with the Party committees and local authorities to support pagodas, monks and Buddhists in religious activities according to regulations. They have promptly communicated the Party and State’s policies and laws on beliefs and religion, as well as information on the district’s socio-economic, defense and security situation to monks and Buddhists. Additionally, in response to and effectively implementing the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style, the VBS District 4 has coordinated to establish the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at local pagodas. To date, seven religious institutions in the district have built the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space.

The VBS District 4 has actively mobilized monks and Buddhists to collaborate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front at various levels to build a great national unity bloc, participate in social welfare activities, and contribute to the "For the Poor" Fund, the "For the Homeland's Seas and Islands - For the Frontlines of the Fatherland" Fund, and the "All People Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" movements.

The VBS District 4 also pays attention to supporting disadvantaged students to continue their education by contributing 120 million VND annually to the district’s Nguyen Huu Tho Scholarship Fund and donating bicycles and study materials.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Thi Thu, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of District 4, acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of the VBS District 4 in propagating and mobilizing monks and Buddhists to effectively adhere to the Party's guidelines and the State's laws, especially religious policies. She expressed hope that the VBS District 4 would continue to disseminate and implement local movements and campaigns at pagodas, closely tied to the development of residential areas. Besides building and expanding the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space, religious institutions should inform and educate Buddhists and visitors about President Ho Chi Minh, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of studying and following his example. The VBS District 4 should continue to coordinate with local authorities to timely understand and address legitimate concerns and wishes, propose solutions to resolve difficulties, and ensure security and order at pagodas, helping monks and Buddhists feel secure in their religious practice and contributing to the overall development of the district./.
