Ho Chi Minh City’s leaders pay homage to Uncle Ho

On May 19, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front, led by Politburo member and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the Party and people; great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, hero of national liberation, outstanding cultural celebrity, and exemplary international communist soldier who spent his life for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

According to the delegation members, his thoughts, morality and style are extremely valuable assets of the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, and will forever be a source of great pride and encouragement for generations of Vietnamese people today and tomorrow. It is the light that illuminates the path for the Vietnamese revolution, leading the Party and the nation to achieve great victories in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

To mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 134th birthday, Ho Chi Minh City accelerates the studying and following of his thought, morality and style; and strives to successfully realize socio-economic development targets.
