Specifically, the party committee honored 16 groups and individuals being excellent examples in many industries, fields and localities. They are dedicated examples and always think and work to protect the legitimate and legal rights of people.

At the ceremony, Head of the An Giang Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education Tran Thi Thanh Huong praised the groups and individuals selected and introduced by localities and units among thousands of outstanding examples in studying, working and dedicating to many areas of social life throughout the province.

She hopes that the typical groups and individuals will continue to strive to study and practice to become bright examples, contributing to making An Giang an increasingly civilized, rich and beautiful province.

In 2024, with the theme “An Giang studies and follows the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in taking care of people’s lives", the Standing Board of the An Giang Party Committee has determined that taking care of people’s lives is the goal, regular political task and responsibility of the entire political system and the entire society.

On this occasion, the Standing Board launched a contest to compose and promote literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme in 2024 - 2025./.
