Khanh Hoa supports Cambodian province to construct office building project

A resolution has been adopted by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee on giving in-principle approval to an investment project worth 15 billion VND to construct an office building for the Stung Treng provincial Military Sub-region’s headquarters of Cambodia.

The project aims to strengthen solidarity between Khanh Hoa province and Stung Treng province, towards guaranteeing political security and border order in the localities.
The office building, covering an area of 1,260 square meters in Stung Treng city, will be implemented by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in the 2023 – 2025 period.
The two localities have maintained cooperation and support programs in terms of education-training, military, heath care and people-to-people exchange. Khanh Hoa province has provided scholarships for students of Stung Treng to study medicine and pharmacy in the province, donated medical supplies and equipment to help Stung Treng prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic, and given free medical check-ups and medicine to residents in the Cambodian locality./.
