Laos - Vietnam Friendship Secondary School inaugurated in Laos

According to Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Vientiane, representatives of the Governments of Laos and Vietnam have officially handed over the Laos - Vietnam Friendship Secondary School to the administration of Lamam district, the southern province of Sekong, Laos.

The school is a gift from the administration and people of the Central city of Da Nang, Vietnam. It is worth 10 million VND. It has two floors, with seven fully equipped classrooms, educational materials, electricity and water connections, including a teacher's office and ten toilets.
The new school will provide a good educational environment, helping to raise educational standards, which will not only support much-needed educational reform efforts and help improve human resource development in Laos but also make an important contribution to strengthening the traditional relationship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam./.
