The course opened at the Electronics and Semiconductor Circuit Center (ESC) in Ho Chi Minh City on April 1, 2024, with the support of the National Innovation Center (NIC) and IT companies, including Synopsys and Cadence.
This is an important turning point that recognizes the achievements of the participants’continuous efforts to complete a large amount of knowledge in the over-two-month course.
Participants are engineers who have just graduated from universities. The training course focused on equipping particpants with physical electronic circuit design skills at the block design level, including: Import, Floorplan, Placement, Clock Tree CTS, Routing; most popular designs today such as: Synopsys and Cadence. Along with basic knowledge gained from universities, after more than two months of practical knowledge training from the ESC center, participants have enough knowledge and skills to meet strict technical requirements from employers such as Marvell, Renesas, Ampere Computing , ADTechnology, Quest Global, Siemens.
Interviews with several participants who have been accepted to work at Marvell, ADTechnology, Quest Global show that they can start working immediately as a Junior level IC engineer at these companies.
Student Huynh Tan Anh, currently a circuit engineer at ADT technology Company, said that experienced and dedicated lecturers have guided the participants not only in knowledge but also in thinking, helping them develop comprehensively skills. The curriculum was built close to the practical knowledge needed when working, helping students quickly and effectively grasp the necessary skills.
"After completing the course, I took the entrance exam and was immediately accepted to work as a Junior-level IC engineer," said Huynh Tan Anh.
