Over 2,000 students and needy workers presented bus and train tickets to go home to celebrate Tet

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center recently said that the center will coordinate with other units to organize trains and buses to bring students and needy workers home to celebrate the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet) with 2,000 bus tickets and 150 train tickets.

The trains and buses will depart from Ho Chi Minh City to the Central and Central Highlands provinces from January 28 – 31.
The program pays special attention to students in difficult circumstances, students with household registration in localities that have suffered heavy losses due to natural disasters, and some freelance employees such as street vendors and lottery sellers.
This annual activity has been carried out by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center since 2002. So far, 60,400 students and needy workers have been supported to return home to celebrate Tet.
To participate in the program, students register online at website www.cxmx.sac.vn or facebook page: www.facebook.com/hotrohssv. After successfully registering online, students will receive a notification email of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center to update their profile and receive tickets. Freelance employees can register online or contact the center directly for advice and instructions on registering.
In addition, to encourage the spirit of students celebrating Tet away from home and encourage students in particularly difficult circumstances, the center will organize a meeting for students at the Youth Cultural House at 14h30 of January 31.
On this occasion, the centre will present 2,000 Tet gifts including gifts, spring newspapers and lucky money to the students. The total value of gift is about 1.5 billion VND./.
