VITAS presents over 630 Tet gifts to workers

The Trade Union of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) on January 10 organized a program in Viet Thang Corporation to show its attention to trade union members and workers during the upcoming Lunar New Year of the Dragon.

At the program, there are 40 stalls from 27 units selling essential goods, clothes, backpacks, handbags, laundry liquid and so on with selling prices discounted by at least 30% - 50% compared to the market to serve trade union members and workers.
On this occasion, the VISTAS trade union also presents 632 gifts and cash with a total value of 316 million VND to trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances or with serious illnesses in Ho Chi Minh City on January 10.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Vice President of VITAS Trade Union, said that the program aims to bring material and spiritual benefits for workers, especially those in particularly difficult circumstances and policy beneficiary families; create conditions for workers to enjoy preferential products and services from partners inside and outside the industry to enhance benefits for trade union members.
At the same time, it also helps workers be aware of the concern of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the roles and responsibilities of trade unions with workers, helping them trust and have close attachment to the trade union./.
