Diverse activities will take place at the pedestrian zone around Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi from 07h00 to 21h00 on International Children's Day (June 1st).
The event will be held by Hoan Kiem district People’s Committee in coordination with the Institute of National Culture Media and other partners, to provide a useful playing ground for children.
Especially, 2,190 children and teenagers from 15 primary schools and high schools will participate in drawing paintings on children’s dreams.
The event will contribute to promoting children’s potential, intelligence and helping children preserve the traditional culture and solidarity to become useful citizens of the nation.

The activity “Colour of zoo” will draw the participation of 100 artists correlative with 100 images of animals that are close to children, and image association with characters in famous cartoons.
The activity “Run for Children” will combine the running of children in Hanoi and disabled ones to increase physical spirit and promote health, while “Picking waste at Hoan Kiem lake for environmental protection” aims to respect the living environment and improve the spirit of environmental protection.
An art performance will contribute to building the image of children in the future with specific songs.
Besides, there will be pavilions and display areas related to travelling and studying Vietnamese culture./.
