In Argentina, Mendoza is considered the largest grape region with over 200,000 hectares, being favourable condition for the country to develop over 800 wine producers and traders.

According to Noris Rivarola, a coordinator of the Medoza province’s investment promotion agency, the province’s wine is competitive, and has been exported mainly to Latin America, America, the UK and Europe.

Talking about Vietnamese market, she said that it is a potential market for Argentina’s goods, including wine as the demand for wine in Vietnam increases by 10% per year.

She also expressed her hope that a representative office for Argentina wine will be promptly set up in Vietnam for promoting businesses with Vietnamese entrepreneurs.

The Vietnam - Argentina trade relation has developed actively, with the two-way turnover of over USD3 billion last year. Vietnam exports mainly computers, footwear, textile and garment products to Argentina and imports animal food and materials from this country./.
