A shipment of medical equipment sent by the Vietnamese Government to Cambodia has moved via Moc Bai border gate and been immediately transferred to Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh.

The assistance from Vietnam aims to help Cambodia meet the urgent need for medical equipment for COVID-19 prevention.
Representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia worked closely with the Moc Bai border gate of Vietnam and the Cambodian border gate to transfer medical equipment sent by the Vietnamese Government to Phnom Penh.
The aid shipment of 100,000 face masks and many medical supplies such as protective clothing and test kits, worth more than VND7 billion, will be used by the Cambodian Government and people fighting COVID-19.
Statistics from Cambodian Ministry of Health showed that as of 08h00 on April 6th, Cambodia had 114 COVID-19 cases, with 53 having been cured. In ASEAN, together with Vietnam and Laos, Cambodia has not reported any fatalities./.
