National Assembly Chairwoman starts official visit to Cambodia

The September 27th-28th visit looks to continually cement and step up the friendly neighbourliness and all-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.

It also looks to actualise commitments on exchanging high-level visits of legislators, the sharing of experience, and other cooperative contents agreed by the two legislative bodies.

Cambodia’s largest daily newspaper Rasmei Kampuchea (Light of Cambodia) has run a front page article saying the visit will strengthen bilateral cooperation.

It noted this was Ngan’s first trip to Cambodia as Vietnam’s top legislator after her recent visit to Laos, showing that Vietnam prioritises the long-standing solidarity between the three countries.

Following by Vietnamese State President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to Cambodia in June 2016, this visit shows that Vietnam pays great attention to relations with Cambodia./.
