RoK province’s Chief presented Order of Friendship

Authorized by the State President, Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Thai Nguyen provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc To, on February 20th presented an Order of Friendship was presented to Kim Kwan Yong, Chief of the Republic of Korea’s Gyeongsangbuk-do province.

The order recognized his contributions to develop the friendly and cooperative relationship between Gyeongsangbuk-do and Thai Nguyen provinces, which helps increase the relations between Vietnam and the RoK.
Addressing the ceremony on the order presenting, Kim Kwan Yong showed his gratitude towards the Vietnamese State for presenting him the precious award, and his pleasure on the development of the Vietnam – Rok cooperation in diverse areas, including politics, international cooperation, investment and trade.
The Vietnam – Rok relations, which have gone through 25 years, is are now continuing to develop and be more and more sustainable.
Thai Nguyen and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces set up a relationship in 2005 in culture, tourism and the building of new style rural areas.
Over the past years, the program on building new style rural areas in Thai Nguyen province has received special assistance from Gyeongsangbuk-do province, including the project to build Rung Van – Semaul village in La Bang commune, Dai Tu district, in which Gyeongsangbuk-do province sponsored the building of the cultural houses, the upgradeing of the power system, internal irrigation system, ploughing machines, spraying machines, medical stations and primary schools./.
