Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Vietnam from March 19th - 20th.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
Vietnam and Russia established diplomatic ties on January 30th, 1950.
Two-way trade reached nearly USD4 billion in the first ten months of 2017, up 36 percent year-on-year.
The two countries are working together to raise the figure to USD10 billion by 2020./.
