He also pledged to work closely with the Vietnamese side for well implementing agreed contents, especially working together to overcome difficulties caused by the negative impact of COVID-19.
According to Hoang Nam, Deputy Chairman of the Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee, to further reinforce the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, Quang Tri shared the burden of difficulties of Lao localities’ authorities and residents, thus joining hands to protect the border areas and promptly defeat COVID-19.
“Over the past time, apart from the Huong Lap Border Station, many other agencies and localities in Quang Tri province have presented medical equipment for Lao Salavan and Savannakhet provinces’ fight against COVID-19,” he added./.
