41 precious books about Vietnam presented to Netherlands’ Leiden University

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Ngo Thi Hoa expressed her pleasure at presenting books about Vietnam to the library and believed that the books would help make Leiden University’s documents about Vietnam in the near and modern period more diversified , supporting Dutch and international students and scholars to better understand the land, people and culture of Vietnam. She emphasized this is a practical activity to mark the 45^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two countries in 2018.

In addition, the Ambassador and Director of the Vietnam Film Institute Vu Nguyen Hung also presented five DVD films on Vietnam to the library.

After the event, Ambassador Hoa, the delegation from the Vietnam Film Institute and officials of the library and Leiden University exchanged about activities to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides.

According to Leiden University, the two sides will cooperate to carry out activities of Vietnam Year 2019 at Leiden Asia Centre./.
