The Asian festival 2018 themed “The Colours of Traditions” was organized at Borisova Gradina Park in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, on May 12th.

The 2nd festival was organized on the initiative of the Vietnamese and Indonesian Embassies in Bulgaria, with the participation of nearly 20 Asian embassies.
At the festival, the Vietnamese Embassy exhibited photos introducing the beauty of the land, people and famous tourism places of Vietnam, and displayed famous traditional consumer, handicraft products such as hat and embroidering painting, and cuisine, as well as putting on hat and fan dance performances which attracted a large number of visitors.
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev visited Vietnam’s kiosk and noted his impression of the land and people of Vietnam, as well as the products of the country displayed at the event.
According to the organizing board, apart from introduction of the lands and peoples of Asian countries, the festival also contributed to support disabled people, orphans, lonely old people, the poor and natural disaster relief for Bulgaria./.
