Cultural and sports exchanges between Vietnamese and Lao Embassies in Malaysia

A friendly cultural and sport exchange was organized by the Vietnamese and Lao Embassies to mark the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic ties and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on September 16th.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Le Quy Quynh said that the exchange was a meaningful activity to celebrate the two major holidays between the two countries.
This is also an opportunity for officials and staff to exchange and support each other at work.
On the evening of the same day, cultural and cuisine exchange activities between the two parties were organized.
While Lao Ambassador Houmdaophone Soukhaseum said that the exchange helped strengthen the solidarity between the officials and staff of the two parties, as well as diversify the activities marking the Laos-Vietnam friendship year.
He also reviewed the traditional relations between the two nations and affirmed that the relations will exist forever, regardless of the changing world situation.
At the event, the participants enjoyed many special art items performed by staffs of the two Embassies./.
