Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee meets overseas Vietnamese in UK

During a working visit to the United Kingdom (UK) on August 20-24, a delegation of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee has a meeting with the representatives of the Overseas Vietnamese Association and Hai Phong Fellow-Countrymen Association in the UK.

At the meeting with the overseas Vietnamese at the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK, Chairman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee, Dao Van Binh, reported the progress of socio-economic development in Hanoi, focusing on some problems about transport, investment and construction in the capital, as well as the policies of the Party and State for overseas Vietnamese.

The delegation also discussed the establishment of an association or branch for ‘Hanoi Fellow-Countrymen’ in the UK.

On the occasion, the delegation also visited the place where Uncle Ho had lived and worked in the UK./.
