Korean company SBI Cosmoney has presented 10,000 medical face masks to Vietnamese guest workers in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

At the handover ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in RoK, Ms Ta Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Vietnamese Labour Management Board, thanked SBI Cosmoney for the gifts and promised to send them to 11 labour support centres, which will pass them on to workers.
According to the Vietnamese Labour Management Board, nearly 47,000 Vietnamese workers are working in the RoK, and the face masks will be a great help in COVID-19 prevention and control.
Mr. Jeong Wook Kim, CEO of SBI Cosmoney, said the company recognizes that foreign workers have been hardest hit by the pandemic.
According to him, the face masks are part of support the company plans to give to Vietnamese workers, and adding that more assistance will be extended to them in the future.
