No Vietnamese people reported as victims of earthquake in Taiwan

According to the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, no Vietnamese citizens have been reported as victims of the earthquake occurring at 23h50 of February 6th in Hualien, Taiwan, China.

As of noon, February 7th, there were confirmed two deaths, as well as 241 injured and 145 missing people. The rescue work is being implemented urgently.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei to continue to closely monitor the situation, and timely take measures to support, ensure the safety of, and protect citizens in case of necessity.
