OV in Netherlands support domestic flood victims

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Ngo Thi Hoa emphasized the great damage caused by storms and floods to local people. Since the beginning of November, a donation movement among the Vietnamese community in the Netherlands was launched, calling upon them ease the difficulties and losses of people in provinces suffering damages caused by recent floods.

Since the launching ceremony, the Embassy has received supports from its officials and staff, overseas Vietnamese and students across the country.

The Ambassador affirmed that after the EUR3,980 collected would be transferred to the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to timely help the domestic people to overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize their lives./.
