Ms. Klara Hrada, representative of the organizing board of the exhibition, said that this is the 12th annual orchid flower exhibition the Prague Botanical Garden has organized but this is the first time about Asian orchid, especially Southeast Asia, including Vietnam’s orchid flower.

The exhibition “Vietnamese forest” opened the journey through the Southeast Asian region with a mysterious imitative cave reminding of famous Son Doong cave in Vietnam’s Quang Binh province.

At the event, visitors felt that they were in a thick forest in Vietnam’s Central Highlands or a neglected island in Indonesia or in the Philippines and contemplated more than 100 kinds of Southeast Asian orchid flowers, including many precious orchid flowers of Vietnam, bred and taken care by Czech botanists.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy also introduced special cuisine products and photos about the S-shaped country taken by Vietnamese photographers.

Ms. Tran Huong, Counsellor of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic, said that the event contributed to promoting the Vietnam - Czech relationship and it was an opportunity for Vietnam to promote agricultural potentials to further promote the economic-economic cooperation between the two countries./.
