Vietnam participates in 19th international cultural week in Mexico

The Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico is participating in the 19th cultural week in San Miguel de Allende city, Guanajuato state, from May 11th -19th, along with 16 other nations.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong and his spouse led the parade, with flag and traditional long dress of Vietnam, going through historical streets of the cultural city, which is considered the heart of Mexico and chosen as the world tourism city No.1 in 2017 by The Travel +Leisure.
The traditional long dress and palm-leaf conical hat of Vietnam elicited passionate response among thousands of international tourists and local people.
On behalf of the organizing board, Mayor of Jesus Gonzalo city highly appreciated the attendance of Vietnam, thus promoting the understanding and cultural exchange between the peoples of Vietnam and Mexico in particular and among participating nations in general.
The cultural week includes 25 art programs with the participation of 440 Mexican and international artists./.
