The Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia participated in an international charity bazaar held by the Association of Spouses of Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Malaysia (SOHOM) on November 19th.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Hong Lien, spouse of Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Le Quy Quynh, the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy regularly participates in charity activities in Malaysia.
She said that they have visited social sponsoring centers in Kuala Lumpur and neighboring states, and presented gifts and cash to children with disabilities, orphans, and elderly people.
The bazaar is organized annually to raise funds to support needy people in Malaysia and it attracted thousands of visitors from diplomatic missions in Malaysia, as well as businesses, associations, and non-governmental organizations.
The Vietnamese Embassy and SOHOM also organized a stall on August 25th to sell traditional Vietnamese food at Pusat fair in Selangor state of Malaysia to raise money to support the social sponsoring center of the state./.
