Vietnam’s booth attracts many visitors at Ukraine's largest fair

Vietnam’s booth at Sorochinsky traditional fair, Ukraine's biggest fair, is being evaluated as one of the stalls attracting a largest number of visitors on August 22nd - 27th.

The fair has been held annually in the last week of August, from the 18th century to the present day, in Veliki Sorochinsy village of Mirgorod district, Poltava province, Ukraine. This year's fair is organized on an area of 16.2 hectares, attracting the participation of more than 1,000 businesses, small traders and artisans, bringing to the fair various displays from industrial products to handicrafts, traditional souvenirs of the regions across Ukraine.

Many artists and art troupes from all over the country have performed at the fair, creating a vibrant and colourful atmosphere at the festival.

Every year, about half a million of people visit Sorochinsky fair during its week-long run.

This year, the embassy, businesses and associations of Vietnam in Ukraine have brought numerous products to the fair.

In addition to agricultural products, traditional foods, traditional medicines and handicrafts products, specific products to promote the culture - tourism and cuisine of Vietnam have attracted a large number of visitors to visit Vietnam’s booth.

Vietnam has joined the Sorochinsky fair since 2015 and has left a deep impression on the organizers, as well as the people of Ukraine./.
