Vietnamese Ambassador to Chile Nguyen Ngoc Son presented his credentials to Chilean President Sebastian Piñera Echenique on June 4th.

Welcoming the newly-appointed Vietnamese Ambassador, the Chilean President conveyed greetings to State President Tran Dai Quang and other Vietnamese leaders.
He highly appreciated the impressive economic development achievements of Vietnam over the past years, and recalled his visits to Vietnam, especially his official visit as the Chilean President in March 2012.
The President expressed his delight at the cooperative and friendly relations between the two countries over the past 45 years and emphasized that they should expand ties, especially in the fields of economics and trade.
Mr. Sebastian Piñera Echenique welcomes the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation to visit Chile and attend the APEC 2019.
The Vietnamese Ambassador conveyed the regards and invitation to visit Vietnam of State President Tran Dai Quang to his Chilean counterpart, and reported the situation in Vietnam, as well as committing to positively contribute to developing the bilateral relations.
