Vietnamese Ambassador to DPRK presents his credentials

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Le Ba Vinh recently presented his credentials to the Chairman of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly Presidium Kim Yong-nam in Pyongyang capital.

At the ceremony, Mr. Kim Yong-nam warmly congratulated Ambassador Le Ba Vinh on his duties; he stressed that the traditional friendship and cooperation between DPRK and Vietnam built and fostered by President Kim Il Sung and President Ho Chi Minh is a precious and solid foundation for the bilateral relations to develop.

He affirmed that the consistent position of the Party, government and people of DPRK is to continuously consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between the two countries; believed that under the mutual concern and efforts of the leaders and peoples, the friendly and cooperative relations will be strengthened and further developed; and wished Ambassador Vinh to make good contributions to the friendship and cooperation.

For his part, Ambassador Le Ba Vinh thanked and affirmed that the Party, state and people of Vietnam always attach importance to the traditional friendship between Vietnam and DPRK; and affirmed that he will try his best to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Ambassador also presented a painting by the ambassador depicting the house where President Kim Il Sung was born to President of DPRK Labour Party Kim Jong-un. Mr. Kim Yong-nam praised the painting and said that he would transfer the painting to leader Kim Jong-un./.
