Vietnamese Embassy in France donates over EUR1,900 to support Central region

The Vietnamese Embassy and Vietnam’s representative agencies in France have contributed over EUR1,900 to support residents in the Central region after the recent floods.

Speaking at the event, Chargé d'affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in France Dang Giang called on all officials and staff of the Embassy and Vietnam’s representative agencies to promote the tradition of solidarity to actively participate in fundraising with at least one day's salary per person to support residents in the Central provinces.
He emphasized that the contribution of the Vietnamese community in France would help local people overcome the disaster and soon stabilize their lives and develop production.
Along with the fundraising among representative agencies, the Embassy also launched the movement among the overseas Vietnamese community.
The proceeds collected in the first day were over EUR1,900.
Through the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese, the Vietnamese Embassy in France will soon transfer the amount to the flood victims in the central region./.
