Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela organizes ASEAN Friendship Golf Tournament

The tournament is within the framework of activities by the ASEAN Commission in Caracas (ACC) to mark the 50th anniversary of ASEAN.

The event positively contributed to tightening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and ASEAN countries, as well as among embassies and diplomatic corps.

As alternate Chairman of ACC, Indonesia's Ambassador Mochammad Luthfie Witt'eng affirmed that the golf tournament not only contributed to enhancing understanding and cohesion among the staff from embassies, but also served as a good opportunity for the ACC to exchange and learn more about cooperation opportunities through the local entrepreneurs.

On the occasion, the participating countries promoted their products and images of their countries through gifts and prizes, as well as culinary products such as Vietnam’s lotus tea, RoK’s soju liquor and Japan’s sake wine./.
