The Vietnamese community in Mexico and cooperation project between Vietnam’s Central Acupuncture Hospital and Autonomous University of Zacatecas have launched a photo and book exhibition to mark the 43rd anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day at Calderón Theatre, in Zacatecas city, Mexico.

The exhibition displays 50 photos of landscape, land and people of Vietnam and books about Vietnamese revolutionary, President Ho Chi Minh and publications of Vietnam Pictorial Newspaper under the Vietnam News Agency.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Antonio Guzmán Fernández, Rector of Autonomous University of Zacatecas, said that through the exhibition, the people in Zacatecas city and students from his university would understand more about the culture, history, land and people of Vietnam, thus tightening the solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
He expressed his admiration before the heroic Vietnamese people in the fight for independence and reunification, as well as the achievements the people of Vietnam have gained in building and developing the nation.
On behalf of the Vietnamese community and members of the cooperation project on Vietnamese acupuncture between Vietnam’s Central Acupuncture Hospital and Autonomous University of Zacatecas, Dr. Ho Quang Minh, an overseas Vietnamese in Mexico, highlighted the great significance of April 30th, 1975, marking a glorious historic page of the nation of Vietnam. This is also the victory of companionship, international friendship, progressive force loving peace and of the international movement of friendship in the world, including Mexican people, who supported and helped people of Vietnam.
Mr. Minh also reviewed the great achievements that the people of Vietnam, under the clear leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, have gained in the cause of innovation, construction and development of the nation./.
