Vietnamese students get degrees of Russia’s Yaroslavl Air Defence Surface-to-Air Missile Institute

With outstanding academic results for the two consecutive years of 2016 and 2017, Vietnamese students at the Yaroslavl Air Defence Surface-to-Air Missile Institute, Russia, have left a profound mark on teachers and students of the institute.

During the graduation ceremony of the institute in 2017, the Vietnamese students continued to impress with outstanding academic results, including one gold medal and nine red degrees, among the total 17 red degrees of the institute.

"Vietnamese students this year continue to achieve excellent graduation results," Major General Andrey A. Illinukh, Rector of the Institute, said after awarding degrees to 21 Vietnamese students.

In 2016, the academic results of Vietnamese students were also the top of the institute, with a gold medal and seven red degrees.

The Vietnamese community in Yaroslavl city has a special connection with the Vietnamese students of the institute in all common activities of the city. The 21 Vietnamese students graduating this year and 20 Vietnamese students graduating in 2016 are all congratulated by a party organized by the Vietnamese community in the city.

The party is attended by Russian teachers, who had not only provided specialized training, but also trained the students in lifestyle, physics, morality and leadership thinking.

All Russian teachers have praised the Vietnamese students for their intelligence, and hard-working and energetic spirit.

"I love the country of Vietnam very much, love the heroic people of Vietnam. Today, my students graduating have left a great mark in my heart about the Vietnamese people of intelligence, sentiment," said teacher Andrey Trernhisov, whose father was a former Russian military expert in Vietnam in 1972.

The Vietnamese students’ outstanding results are the pride of the Vietnamese community in Yaroslavl, and they have also inspired the generation of children of the Vietnamese community to continue to follow and radiate the word “Vietnam” in the foreign country./.
