The southern Soc Trang provincial Study Encouragement Association has coordinated with sponsors to provide 240 Duong Ky Hiep scholarships to poor students in the province.

The scholarships were sponsored by Vietnam Rubber Group and Duong Ky Hiep revolutionary family.
According to the People's Teacher Lam És, Chairman of Soc Trang provincial Study Encouragement Association, the scholarship would help the students have more conditions to go to school and strive to study better to be useful to the society.
He also expressed his hope that sponsors would continue to accompany Duong Ky Hiep Study Encouragement Fund to share a part of difficulties with poor students who overcome difficulties and rise up in their studying.
Duong Ky Hiep Study Encouragement Fund was established in 2012 to support scholarships and create favorable conditions for poor and disadvantaged students, orphans, disabilities, students from economically disadvantaged areas. Over the past eight years, it has encouraged more than VND3.4 billion and presented 1,745 scholarships to students./.
