The ships, carrying 633 officers and sailors, are led by Rear Admiral Yang Minsoo.

This is the first visit to Vietnam by RoK naval ships in 2019. It takes place at a time when the relations between the two nations as well as their defence ties have been continuously consolidated.

This is also among activities to concretise the agreement between the two states and defence ministries, contributing to deepening the bilateral defence relations.

During their stay, the RoK guests will pay a courtesy visit to leaders of the municipal People’s Committee and Naval Region 3 High Command, join cultural performances, and visit local tourist destinations./.
