Mr. U Htin Kyaw was accompanied by a delegation of over 30 members, including Ministers of Myanmar's Commerce and Construction Departments.

The visit aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and promoting friendly relations and cooperation between Myanmar and China.

Myanmar-China relations have been traditionally good since Myanmar's independence and the founding of the People's Republic of China, with frequent reciprocal visits made by leaders of the two countries, Xinhua said.

Myanmar’s State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi had a five-day official trip in China last August. On the occasion, the two sides agreed to bolster China-Myanmar relations./.
