President of the Councils of State and Ministers Miguel Diaz-Canel arrived in London on November 12th to begin his official visit to the United Kingdom.

In London, the President met with Philip Hammond, Chancellor of the Exchequer and second ranking leader of the British government.
During his stay in the capital of the United Kingdom, Mr. Díaz-Canel also met with representatives of 30 companies from the United Kingdom, members of the Cuba Initiative, an entity established in 1995 to promote business between both nations.
Diaz-Canel arrived at London's Gatwick airport from Laos, the last stop on a journey that began earlier this month in France, a brief stop-over Russia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China and Vietnam.
In those countries he met with the highest government and political authorities, visited places of historical and cultural interest, talked with businessmen and members of solidarity movements with the island and made several economic and trade agreements.
This is Diaz-Canel's first international tour as President of the Councils of State and Ministers./.
