RoK President Moon Jae-in visits US

The Republic of Korea (RoK) President Moon Jae-in on September 23rd began his official 5-day visit to the United States (U.S) to participate in the 73rd session of the United Nations (U.N) General Assembly and meet with US President Donald Trump.

As scheduled, President Moon and his U.S counterpart Trump will meet on September 25th on the sideline of the U.N General Assembly. At the event, Mr. Moon will brief U.S. President Trump on Pyongyang summit results and quite possibly relay a personal message from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea leader Kim Jong-un.

Presidents Moon and Trump are also expected to sign their countries' revised Free Trade Agreement.

Mr. Moon is also set to engage in active diplomacy aimed at promoting negotiations between Pyongyang and Washington.

In the framework of his visit to the U.S, President Moon will meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and hold a series of bilateral summits with the leaders of Japan, Chile, Spain and Egypt.  

He also plans to address at a meeting with 250 U.S. experts and opinion leaders on international issues and to hold an interview with Fox News on September 25th./.
