18th Vietnamese film festival set for Quang Ninh province

On August 6^th, the Department of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the 18^th Vietnamese film festival will take place in Ha Long city, the northern province of Quang Ninh from October 11-15, 2013.

The event will be held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee.

Local filmmakers and producers can send their entries to the Cinema Department at 147 Hoang Hoa Tham Street in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh district by September 15^th.

Movies can be from many different genres, including feature films, videos, documentaries, scientific films and animation. All films must be approved to be publicized by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, must not violate copyrights and must not have been entered in any national television festival./.
