A special art programme will feature numerous songs about spring festivals and the traditional customs of ethnic groups for Tet celebrations.

The highlight of the occasion will be the introduction of intangible cultural heritages to visitors, including “Then” singing, known locally as “Hat Then”, which is a distinctive musical genre of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups who reside in northern mountainous provinces such as Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, and Lang Son.

Visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy dances of the B'ru Van Kieu ethnic group in Quang Ninh and a Gong performance put on by locals in the Central Highlands region, sample distinctive dishes of ethnic people and play their folk games.

Traditional customs during Tet will also be introduced to visitors, with the aim of preserving, upholding, and promoting the values of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups./.
