On July 30, the Hanoi Radio Television organized an art performance in Hanoi to pay tribute to Vietnamese wounded and fallen soldiers as part of activities to mark the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The programme was connected from Hanoi with five points across the country including the Heroic Martyrs’ Memorial at Point 468 (Thanh Thuy Commune of Ha Giang Province), the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs’ Cemetery (Ha Giang Province), the National Road 9 Martyrs’ Cemetery (Quang Tri), Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery (Quang Tri), and the Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao Island District), reported NDO.
The programme lasted 120 minutes, introducing musical and poetic works that are highly valued for their artistic quality. These works have been transcribed and orchestrated for a semi-classical orchestra, aiming to bring the audience deep emotions and pride. Through the programme, viewers better understand and appreciate the value of peace.
The programme is a tribute and remembrance from today's generation to the wounded and fallen soldiers who sacrificed their blood and bones for the cause of national independence, freedom, unification, and the protection of the country's sovereignty.
The programme is an opportunity for audiences to remember and honour those who sacrificed for the nation. Through the programme, each person will be aware of their responsibility to the country, shwo gratitude and remembrance for those who sacrificed to achieve the peace and independence today.
