Accompanying the delegation was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam Borovikov Vladimir Vladimirovich.

The group offered flowers and visited the Mausoleum to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh.

In 1957 President Ho Chi Minh first came to Belarus, and after more than 30 years of diplomatic relations, the friendship, tradition and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries have been increasingly consolidated and developed in various fields, reaching many positive achievements.

Vietnam always remembers and is grateful for the valuable support of the Belarusian people for the Vietnamese people in the past struggle for national independence and unification, and the national construction and development at present.

This delegation's visit has an important meaning in affirming the determination to consolidate and comprehensively develop the friendship, tradition and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, for the benefit of the two peoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and common prosperity of the region and the world./.
