Diverse activities to mark New Year 2024 at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

Diverse cultural activities will take place at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi from December 30 to January 1, 2024 to mark the New Year 2024.

The highlight of the event will be a fair displaying local cuisine and specialties of the Nung, Mong, and Dao ethnic groups and their tourism products.

On this occasion, products of different ethnic groups will be introduced. Visitors will have an opportunity to learn more about the specialties as well as the festive atmosphere in traditional highland markets during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Furthermore, a painting exhibition on spring markets, a corner to showcase traditional costumes of ethnic groups, a rice cooking contest, and the re-enaction of a harvest festival of the Dao ethnic group are all expected to bring unforgettable experiences for visitors.

Especially, art performances in celebration of New Year 2024 will be held with the participation of hundreds of people from 16 ethnic minority groups across Vietnam./.
